How to Apply MANII Gel Films

Before you start

Start with clean, dry nails.

Remove old polish / product.

Push back cuticles gently with the cuticle stick provided.

Wipe nails with alcohol wipe to remove and oil or dirt.

Match the film sizes to each nail to allow for a fit that covers the nail with a slight gap (1mm) between the skin or cuticle.

If in between sizes, pick the smaller one.

Gently peel the strip from the backing.

Stretch it gently to fit your specific nail shape (if required).

Align just above the cuticle line (leaving 1mm gap between skin or cuticle).

Ensure the wrap does not touch skin as this can affect the seal.

Press down from the centre outwards, then gently roll the cuticle stick over and press the edges down to bed the film to your nail.

Place nails under your MANII UV/LED lamp.

Cure for 60–120 seconds.

Repeat on the other hand (for even coverage cure thumb separately).

Clip and file back any excess - MANII nail films are not designed to be used as extensions and so should not extend past your natural nail.

Be careful not to file across the top of the nail, file at a 45 degree angle to the underside of the nail to avoid damaging the top surface.

You are done!

Gently lift a corner at the side or base of the nail using the cuticle stick provided.

Do not rip straight off from the top, or remove roughly — this can stress the nail.

Slowly and gently wiggle and slide the stick along the nail plate, adding cuticle oil or nail polish remover to loosen the bond as needed.

The wrap should loosen and glide off.

Wipe nails with an alcohol wipe or soapy cotton pad to remove any residue.

Wash hands and apply cuticle oil or hand cream.
