What are MANII Semi-Cured Gel Films?
MANII gel films are salon-grade gel polish in film form - no bottles / no spills (pretty revolutionary!)
They are partially cured to remain flexible during application, then fully cured under a UV / LED lamp to set into a smooth, durable gel finish.
Each set includes 20 films, designed to fit all nail sizes and remove cleanly (without aggressive soaking or filing).
Our gel films are the ultimate hybrid: the look and wear of gel, the ease of press-ons (without the bulk), and clean removal.
Can I use MANII films as extensions?
No. MANII films are not extensions.
They do not add length and are designed to sit comfortably on natural nails, functioning like a long-wear gel polish.
They mould to your natural nail shape as they cure.
How long do MANII manicures last?
With proper nail prep and application, MANII gel films are designed to last 2+ weeks.
Results may vary based on lifestyle and application.
Will nail films damage my nails?
MANII gel films are designed for easy, non-damaging removal.
When applied and removed as directed, they help minimise the damage cycle often associated with traditional gel manicures.
The cured film may even help discourage nail biting and reduce breakage during wear!
How do I apply MANII’s nail films?
1. Find the best size for each nail – each film has two width options to suit your cuticle shape.
2. Peel off the clear protective film, then remove the gel film.
3. Apply to the nail, avoiding the cuticles (stretch gently if needed).
4. Firmly press and smooth out any air bubbles. Bed down around the edges with the wooden cuticle stick provided to seal (leave 1mm gap between nail and cuticle).
5. Trim excess film with nail clippers or scissors.
6. File downward to smooth the tip – films should not extend beyond your natural nail length.
7. Cure under a UV/LED light for 60 seconds.
How do I remove MANII gel films?
1. Gently lift one edge of the film using the cuticle stick provided and slowly and gently slide the stick under the film until it pops off.
2. Clean your nails with an alcohol prep pad or soapy cotton pad.
Tip – gentle removal is key - use our cuticle oil pen, or dip the cuticle stick in nail polish remover to help loosen the adhesive.

What are MANII gel films made of?
MANII gel films are made using salon-grade gel polish technology, formulated with a 21-free formula.
This means they’re made without a number of ingredients commonly associated with higher health concerns in nail products, including:
1. Formaldehyde (carcinogenic / skin sensitiser)
2. HEMA (commonly linked to allergic contact dermatitis in nail products)
3. Camphor (links to endocrine concerns)
4. TPO (Trimethylbenzoyl Diphenylphosphine Oxide) – (recently banned in EU due to reproductive toxicity concerns)
5. Xylene (solvent)
6. DBP (Dibutyl Phtalate) – (classified as toxic to reproduction)
7. Toluene (nervous system effects / reproductive toxicity)
8. TPHP (Triphenyl Phosphate)- (linked to hormone disruption signals)
9. Benzene – (carcinogen).

The main ingredients in our gel films are:
1. Acrylic polymers (2-Propenoic acid, 2-methyl-, polymer with ethyl 2-propenoate) - these form the flexible, long-wearing film of the gel wrap, allowing it to adhere smoothly and stretch slightly for a seamless, custom fit.
2. Acrylic polymer resins (2-Propenoic acid, homopolymer; glycerol, propoxylated, esters with acrylic acid)- these enhance flexibility and comfort, helping the gel film move naturally with the nail and resist cracking or lifting.
3. Photoinitiator (2-Isopropyl-9H-thioxanthen-9-one)- this light-activated ingredient enables the gel film to cure under an LED lamp.
Our films form a stable, inert gel layer when used as directed.
